New Music Video 'Signs' Upcoming
Michael W. Smith has finished filming a new music video for his brand new song Signs. This song, co-written by Michael and son Ryan, is now playing on radio stations and is included on the new Second Decade album to be released on October 7th.

Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant Receive First Summit Award
The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has honored Michael and Amy with the first Seminar in the Rockies Summit Award which is a new award established to 'recognize individuals, groups or organizations in the Christian music industry that have demonstrated remarkable achievement over time, and have a meaningful connection with Seminar in the Rockies.' This event is established as a yearly retreat for Christian music professionals and associates. Michael's award read: 'For 20 years of outstanding achievement as a songwriter and artist, and for your vision and example in impacting the culture for Christ.'

The Second Decade 1993-2003 CD To Be Released October 7th
Michael W. Smith's new CD project, The Second Decade 1993-2003, is scheduled for release October 7th. The album will feature 13 hit songs from the past 10 years and will also include 2 new songs. One of the new songs, Signs, is written with the help of Smith's son Ryan.

The tentative 15 song list includes: Cry for Love, Straight to the Heart, I'll Lead You Home, Missing Person, Love Me Good, Live the Life, Never Been Unloved, This Is Your Time, Freedom, Above All, Prince of Peace, Friends 2003, Breakdown, and these 2 new songs, Raging Sea and Signs.

Michael's next major project will be the release of a new studio album in 2004.

Celebration Tour Announced
Michael W. Smith announces The Celebration Tour with special guest MercyMe. This fall tour will stop at 19 cities starting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 16th and ending in Huntington, West Virginia on November 9th.

Michael W. Smith won four Dove Awards at the 34th Annual Dove Awards presentation. His awards were for:

Artist of the Year
Male Vocalist of the Year
Long Form Music Video of the Year - 'Worship'
Praise and Worship Album of the Year - 'Worship Again'
